More about ACORN (& ANCHOVY)

Acorn and Anchovy are a charming pair of Chihuahua’s who are a closely bonded. They can often be found curled up next to one another in a comfortable bed enjoying a nap.

Both Acorn & Anchovy do find the outside world daunting and can find new situations and environments worrying.

The pair are currently spending some time in a temporary foster home. They have been doing well with their house training, travel well in the car and they both love affection.

They are looking to be the only dogs in the household at this time as the pair can find other dogs worrying and still are learning to interact with other dogs. However they would benefit from having some calm walking dog friends to help with their ongoing socialisation and act as a role model.

This adorable pair will require a private garden where they can explore in their own time with no outside pressure, this will also help to build up their confidence.

Acorn and Anchovy enjoy a little play with soft toys or small balls but food is the way to their hearts. Food and a warm lap is what this pair are looking for.

Both dogs have had some problems with their eyesight which has been treated by the Battersea Clinical Team. New owners will need to speak to a Battersea Vet before rehoming.
